Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"My friend and I were staying close to this restaurant- the first time we walked past and saw how cheap it was, we thought "Hmmmm, probably rubbish food". How wrong were we!? We initially went in for cocktails, again advertised very cheaply. We were impressed by the cocktails and friendly staff so decided to return for food. Upon our return we had chicken curry (loads of chicken, plus rice, chips and veg), salmon and sole (both served with either canary potatoes or chips plus salad- amazing!) The food was very reasonably priced, tasty and well cooked with good sized portions. The cocktail menu was extensive - we really enjoyed them, they were alcohol-packed and expertly made. Sometimes a 'cheap' menu doesn't mean 'this place isn't very good, it's just cheap'. Not this restaurant - visit them and their fabulous staff and you won't be disappointed!"
"Very nice and affordable restaurant! Great prices as well and extensive men7 to try it out, especially Tapas side where we tried a lot Cocktails are cheap but Canarian wasn't good (maybe it's just the cocktail type I didn't like) ,Mai Tai was tasty. I can recommend this restaurant as portions were generous sized with really great prices. I knocked a star because striploin steak was rare instead of medium done (I guess it was just too thick) ,and again, this Canarian cocktail tasted too sweet and bland but other than that everything was perfect! We were even served with Lanzarote honey rum at the end (on the house) and this was a really nice touch to finish dinner in a style"
"Nothing fancy here. Just large portions of tasty food from an extensive menu, served promptly and piping hot. They ladle out the soup right at your table side. Both indoor and outdoor tables. Some locals and some tourists in attendance."
"Great food and service at very reasonable prices. We keep coming back to this restaurant despite there being loads of restaurants around the area. The food is all freshly cooked and I would recommend the House white wine. We have tried most of the food on the menu and it’s all really good. The fish is freshly caught and the tapas are really good value for money, loved the banana split desert as well. Plus you always get a free complimentary honey rum with your bill."
"Tried this place with a recommendation from someone at our hotel.. Found the place extremely busy on the day we went but the guys were more than accommodating and found us a table, drinks served quickly, order taken soon after..food was excellent and freshly made…even had room for tiramisu…well the next day we went back again for dinner and was not disappointed..staff are polite, friendly and funny ..more than likely go back again this week…and we did 6 times in total…highly recommend…"
"We've eaten here 5 times over the last year. Food service and prices excellent Arturo always has a smile and helpful. I tried the grilled prawns today they were delicious"
"I came here for tapas one evening, I had read other reviews that said the portion sizes were quite large so my friend and I shared 3 dishes - garlic mushroom, padron peppers and canarian potatoes. We were pleasantly full afterwards so we felt this place offered really good value for money. It was my first time trying the potatoes and they were absolutely delicious. The mojo is fantastic!"
"The food was really great and tasty. We ordered few tapas, startes and paella with chicken & meat. We did not have to wait, everything was made very quickly. The food was nice and delicious, I especially enjoyed the chicken croquettes and the paella. As a plus is a children playground just accross the street so we could actually enjoy the food"
